tasty red


The ongoing saga of our new Breville juicer...(to see the first episode go here).

My daily juice is usually some shade of khaki green - sounds appetizing, right? When I brought blood oranges and strawberries home from the farmer's market last Sunday, I had to give it a try...I wasn't disappointed!  And I still think that any drink in a pretty glass makes it taste even better.

Later in the day, I made cookies and added the juicer pulp into the batter, which of course turned it pink...orange strawberry oatmeal cookies.
